Hello,

Unfortunately, this is an ongoing, intermittent problem with WorldCat UMD. Our internal technicians along with technicians from OCLC have started an investigation and are testing possible causes for this problem. It may take some time for them to complete the investigation. You can find updates on the status on the Systems Status Dashboard.

Eventually, this message will go away, if you try again later. However, if you get this error message and you need information immediately, please fill out this form and let us know what research material you need. We will help you find the material as best we can.

You can also try clicking on the linked "University of Maryland, College Park" at the top of the WorldCat display (see image below), although not all titles in WorldCat Discovery have an entry in the Classic Catalog. (Most e-books do not have entries in the Classic Catalog.)

This will search for your title in the Classic Catalog.  Click on the "Find It" button to get to full text, see below:

Or if you are looking for print or other physical items, click on the classic catalog entry for the title to find the print items (see below):

Another way to find e-journals is by going to Journal Finder, where you can find e-journals by title or ISSN.  You can also search for articles by searching Journal Finder for the journal title that contains the article.  Here's how to find Journal Finder from the Libraries' home page:

Input your title or ISSN to search:

Then click on the linked title to get to the journal's website:

If you are looking for a specific article, you can then search the publisher's website to find the article.

Thank you for your patience! And thank you for using AskUs!
