Hello,

We can help you access the Djuna Barnes papers in Hornbake Library's Maryland Room whenever it is open.  Hours and directions can be found here

Since much of the Barnes papers have been microfilmed, we provide the microfilm (unless scholars must consult the original papers). If you let us know which items you wish to consult in advance, we can pull the material before you come.

However, it should only take a short time to retrieve the material if you request it upon arrival. Go here for contact information.

A detailed finding aid to the Barnes papers is located here.  It will save time if you consult this source ahead of arriving to determine what is useful.  We also have a library guide to our Djuna Barnes material that is located here

Please let us know if you have further questions, and thank you for using AskUs!
