Q. Where do I go to check out a book? And when can I do this?

Hello,

Once you have found a book on the shelf in one of the Eight Branches of UMD Libraries, take it to the Service Desk (or to self-check, if available) to check it out. You will just need the book and your University ID card.

You can check out a book anytime any of the libraries are open. Click here for Hours.
