Hello. All Interlibrary Loan article requests must first go through Copyright Clearance, a process by which ILL staff check to see if the Libraries must pay copyright on the article requested.  But ILL will seek articles whether the Libraries pay copyright or not.

You can facilitate this process by including the year and page numbers in requests for articles.  Requests will usually proceed to one of the processing queues within 24 hours or less, unless they are made over a weekend or holiday, in which case copyright clearance will occur once ILL reopens.

For more information regarding the different statuses of ILL items, please see our 'What does the status of my Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request mean?' page.

And thank you for using AskUs!
