Patrons who are a UMD graduate student or faculty member can request a scanned copy of an article or book chapter that we have in paper through the Libraries' Scan & Deliver. You may request up to one article per journal issue or one chapter per book.
Log in to your ILL Services Account and complete the Request Scan & Deliver form with full citation information. Usually within 3 business days, Interlibrary Loan staff will scan the article or chapter and you will be notified via email when the article is ready for download.
If the journal or book in question is not on the shelf, your request will be referred to Interlibrary Loan, which will respond as quickly as possible and, usually, send you a pdf via email.
Thank you for using AskUs!
