Libraries' staff recommend using UBorrow for any physical items you may need for long periods of time. Items like books and music scores are available through this service for 3 months with a guaranteed 1-month renewal. To see which items are available, simply search by title here.

If the item is not available through UBorrow, you can request it through Interlibrary loan. Due dates vary according to the lending library, but usually only last 3 to 6 weeks. While renewals are sometimes possible, they may last only for an additional 1-2 weeks.

For these reasons, we do NOT recommend requesting textbooks via Interlibrary Loan. If you need to use a book for an entire semester in conjunction with a class, please purchase the book instead.
