Hello,

Yes, you can print PDF files from a flash drive by using the public computers in the library or by printing from your laptop. Log in first to access the Libraries' computers. Once you log in, plug in your flash drive, find and open your PDF file, then send your PDF to the printers.

A window will open that allows you to identity your print job on the printers' Pharos queues by your username and by the name of the file. Swipe your UMD ID (once you've activated Terrapin Express and put money into your account) or a guest print card that you can purchase and fund using our copy card ATM's), touch the small beside your name, touch PRINT, and the printers will subtract money from your account and print.

Printing from a personal device requires downloading software that will send files to the Libraries' printers. Go here for instructions on how to do this.

Please let staff at the Libraries' service desk know if you have questions.

And thank you for using AskUs!
