Hello. UMD Library Users can borrow items from any Big Ten university library. They must check that they have an active UMD library account (see Access to Collections & Privileges page) prior to your trip and then use the BTAA Reciprocal Borrowers Application to authenticate access once at the other Big Ten library.
Of course, UMD library users may also use UBorrow to access Big Ten schools through Interlibrary Loan (again check your affiliation to see if you have UBorrow priviliges). Visit our UBorrow page for further information.
If you are uncertain about which universities belong to the Big Ten Academic Alliance, visit the Big Ten Academic Alliance's webpage for a detailed list.
