Our main source of audiobooks is the Popular Reading Collection. While the link on that page will take you to the full list of both print and audio books, this search will show just the audio books, which we have on CD.

We do have some audiobooks in our general collections, however.  You will notice that many of these audiobooks are on cassette tape or record, and are held in Library Media Services on the ground floor of Hornbake Library. We do not actively collect audiobooks, so many of them are older.  If you just limit the search to CD rather than audiobook, you will see our extensive selection of recorded music on CDs.

To view the general audiobooks, you might try an advanced search in WorldCatUMD. You can enter some keyword that you might be interested in (maybe literature?) at the top. Under the "Narrow Your Search" section near the bottom, select "University of Maryland, College Park" or "McKeldin Library" for the Library and "Audiobook" for the Format.  You can also use the facets on the left side to limit the results to that format after you run your search if that would be easier.

Many of the public libraries in the area offer digital audiobooks that can be downloaded from home, while almost all of ours are only available as physical copies.
