Hello,

You may check out any book that is not marked as "Non-circulating." This information appears in the catalog record, next to the location.

Folios generally circulate: they are the section on each floor or in each library where large, tall books are shelved as a way to save space in housing collections as a whole. If the folio item you wish to check out is marked non-circulating, you may scan (for free) or photocopy (for ten cents a page) the parts you need.
