Anytime we have an ebook, you should not see the Request via ILL button in the catalog. This is because UMD Libraries are already providing you with a copy of the book!
If you need the print version, we first recommend searching the item in UBorrow, a library service made possible through our membership in the Big Ten Conference. To use UBorrow, simply begin searching here.
If the item cannot be found in UBorrow, you will need to place a manual request via your ILL Services Account. In the "Request Book or Other Loan" form, give as much citation information as possible, including the ISBN for the specific edition you desire.
If you need a specific edition and format, you should also uncheck "Accept Alternate Editions" and add a note stating that you need a print copy.
Thank you for using AskUs!
