Q. Are Community Borrowers allowed to request items that are held by another user?

Hello, 

UMD faculty, students and staff can recall books from users who currently have an item checked out (which shortens the due date to two weeks from the date of the request and prevents renewals).  This is a privilege reserved for our primary users but not for Community Borrowers, unfortunately.
