The best course of action is to return the book as soon as you can, even if that is past the due date.

Once you return the book, the replacement fee will be withdrawn, but the lost material processing fee and the overdue fines will remain on your account and you will still be responsible for paying them.

However, if there were extenuating circumstances, such as you recently moved and lost track of the book and that is why it is overdue, you can apply for a waiver of these fines by filling out the Billing Inquiry Form (in which a section is provided for you to explain the circumstances of the book’s late return).
