Current faculty, staff, and students at any USMAI library can borrow books from UMD's Libraries. UMD also offer a Community Borrowers Program for those not affiliated with a school in USMAI.

If eligible, you can borrow books from UMD's Libraries by searching for call numbers using the search box in the Libraries' homepage, and then by locating those call numbers in the correct library on campus.

McKeldin is the main library at University of Maryland, College Park, but there are Eight Branches in total.

Stop by any of the service desks in the Libraries for help, and for a guide for locating call numbers and then finding those books on the shelves.

With regard to length of time for checking out books, go to this webpage for information.
