Hello, thank you for the question. ILL renewals depend on the lender in question. For many libraries, one renewal is the maximum they will allow, although some of our partner libraries will grant additional renewals.
Always try to place a renewal through your ILL Account first. If this is not an option, you may email ILL staff at firstname.lastname@example.org and request a renewal for this item. We can ask the lending library to consider granting a second renewal, and confirm or deny the renewal via email based on their response. Please be advised that if you do receive a second renewal, it will probably only be for 2-4 weeks.
If you need this item for longer than 2-4 weeks, try requesting another copy via UBorrow now. Items obtained through UBorrow come within a week, and you can keep them for 4 months!
