Hello,

Scanning is free for anyone using UMD Libraries.

  • The Architecture Library has 2 flat bed scanners, 11 by 17 inches and one KIC BookEye overhead scanner.
  • The Art Library and Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library each also have one KIC BookEye overhead scanner.
  • The STEM Library has one flatbed scanner and one KIC BookEye overhead scanner.
  • McKeldin Library has three KIC BookEye overhead scanners, located on First Floor.
  • The Maryland Room in the Hornbake Library has one Zeutschel OS 12000 Bookcopy overhead scanner.

The KIC BookEye scanners have a max color resolution of 400 dpi, save to USB, send to email, and have OCR capabilities.

The Zeutschel in Hornbake Maryland Room saves to USB and does not have OCR.
