You are welcome to use materials in the UMD Libraries any time they are open to the public. You may also use our scanners (free) and photocopiers (prices vary). See the Libraries' hours here

Maryland residents can acquire borrowing privileges by joining the Community Borrowers program. This program is the only way for the general public to take out books from any of the Libraries.

Floor plans and assistance with finding books are available at the service desk in any of the Libraries' Eight Branches. More visitor information can be found here
