The length of time it takes a requested book to arrive at the pick-up location you have selected depends on where you requested the book from.
A book going from one library branch on campus to another should only take a day or so. A book coming from another University of Maryland System school or a Big 10 school may take three to five weekdays. Books coming from outside our existing partnerships may take a week or more.
If you have already requested the item you want, you will receive an email as soon as it arrives at the pick-up location. If it seems that your request is taking a long time, please feel free to contact us at 301-405-0800 or come in to any of our branches and we will look into it for you.
