Hello,

Processing time for Course Reserves varies depending on item availability and time of the year.  Reserves staff members can usually make items available on electronic or hard copy reserve within 3 business days (if a library or personal copy is readily available). However, items that need to be purchased or recalled will take longer (approximately 1-3 weeks), and due to high volume, we may need a little extra time to process requests at the start of the semester. Accordingly, we recommend requesting items at least two weeks before you expect your students to use them.

Once items have been requested for Course Reserves, instructors can monitor the progress by viewing their status in ELMS.

Reserve Item Menu Bar is shown. Viiew Item is Grayed out. The next red heading has Notes with no notes listed. The next red heading has Tracking and this shows how the processes the item has gone through.

Instructors can also subscribe to email updates for each item through ELMS. More information on this is available here
