Like many University Libraries, the University of Maryland Libraries face multiple challenges in the effort to build and maintain collections and provide access to the resources needed to support their institutional research and teaching mission.  The collection budget at UMCP, like many other institutions, has failed to keep up with the rising costs of the information marketplace. 

One result of these budgetary constraints is that the Libraries' subscription to the OECD iLibrary will not be renewed. The OECD iLibrary also include the IEA Statistics Package (i.e. Energy Policies of IEA, OECD Science, Technology and Industry Scorecard, and STI Working Papers). Access to the database will end on August 31, 2018.
