Naxos provides mobile apps for Android and IOS, which can be found in the Google Play Store or iTunes, respectively. In order to use these, you will need to log in. The best way to do this is to create a personal Naxos account after logging in through the UMD Libraries' Databases list. Here is what to do:
1. First, access Naxos through the Libraries' Web site (start at lib.umd.edu, click Databases tab, search for Naxos, click the link, log in with UMD credentials).
2. Once you're in, create a personal Naxos account, which is separate from what you use to log in through step one. This account lets you access the mobile app as well as create your own playlists. Naxos provides steps for this process at https://www.naxosonlinelibraries.com/nml-member-playlist.html
3. Once you have your personal Naxos account (and verify it through email), you can log in to the mobile app using the new account (so, when you open the app, instead of choosing log in with my institution, you'll give it the user name and password you just created). Note that the "user name" is the email you use to create the account.
