Alumni do not have the same library privileges as current UMD faculty, staff, and students, but they can use public computers in the Libraries by getting a guest ID and password at the Services Desk.

However, visitors can only use wireless while on campus by going online through eduroam, which requires that they be affiliated with a school that subscribes to this service and will allow them to log on using their ID and password from that institution.

But eduroam does not give visitors access to online resources (like databases) when off campus.  You can borrow books by joining the Community Borrowers Program (Note: Community Borrower Card picking up and processing ends 30 minutes prior to closing).
