If you have found the item in WorldCatUMD, click the red “Place hold” button.
You will be prompted to identify the campus at which you are enrolled and then to log in with your directory ID and password. Choose the library where you want to pick up the book (Pickup/Delivery Location) from the drop down menu, then click “Send.” You will then be directed to a request confirmation page, where you must click "Send" again.
Your request is now completed, and you will receive an email when the book is available, at which point you can find it on the holds' shelves near the service desk at the library you chose.
Visitors without borrowing privileges should use the Severn Library Request Form to request items from Severn Library. Visitors are limited to 10 items per patron (including multi-volume works and serials), and all items are In-Library Use Only.
