The Libraries are often looking for UMD students to fill our student jobs. This webpage from the Libraries' Human Resources Office gives information about applying for those positions.
You can submit the application online BEFORE arriving on campus. Having an application on-file in Library HR makes certain that a lot of staff will see it.
