Hello,

Your book (or other library material) was recalled because another patron has requested to use it. When that happens, the due date on your material will be shortened.

The new due date will be 14 days from the notice date or the original due date, whichever is sooner.

It is important that you return a recalled book by the new due date. Recall fines are $5.00 per day if the book is not returned by the new due date, and there is no grace period.  Also, two or more overdue recalled items block library services for a patron until recalled items are returned.
