To get started, visit the websites for Institutional Research, Planning and Assessment, or UMD Newsdesk. 

IRPA, for example, contains enrollment figures going back to Spring 1998, as well as admissions and retention data. Newsdesk has a "Facts & Figures" section which provides a current snapshot of statistical campus data, as well as various rankings going back several years.
