Hello,

There are two things to keep in mind when directing students to resources in the Libraries' subscription databases: be sure that (1) you have the permalink to the resource (the URL at the top of the browser is frequently session specific and won't work for anyone else) and (2) you are routing them through our proxy server so your students can login with their directory ID and password that will authenticate them as UMD users. 

The Libraries have put together a guide that covers most of the details for getting these links set up correctly. Please keep that handy for future reference, especially the "Tools for creating Proxy Links" tabs.
