Awaiting Customer Contact is the status of an interlibrary loan item that has arrived and been partially processed by ILL staff.  Once the item has received its identifying book strap and been added to the hold shelves at the library services desk, you will be notified via email that the item is available for pick-up. 

Usually an item remains in this status for 1-2 hours; in some cases it may remain in this status over night or over the weekend if the task could not be completed before the end of a worker's shift. If you have not yet received the email notification from this item (or if its status has not changed to Customer Notified via email), please wait to retrieve your item until it has been made available.
