Q. Is Rosetta Stone or a different language aid available through the Libraries?

The UMD Libraries do not provide access to Rosetta Stone or any other language learning systems, although you will find more traditional instruction and grammar books in our UMD Discover catalog. Fortunately, however, many of the public library systems in the area do offer free access to comparable software such as Mango or Transparent Language.
