Hello. Interlibrary loan is free for all users who have ILL borrowing privileges. If you don't know if you have ILL or other borrowing privileges, please check Access to Collections and Facilities.
Most books requested through ILL arrive within 10-12 days. The loan period is 16 weeks with no renewals (but please keep in mind that a lending library may need to recall an item for their own user which could shorten your loan period).
If you need a book longer than that, we recommend cloning the request by going to "Account History" in your ILL account and clicking the hyperlinked TN number and then clinking "Clone Request". You can do this while you still have the item checked out so that we can begin obtaining another copy for you by the time your current item is due (we recommend starting that process about two weeks before the due date).
