Q. How can I get help accessing UMD Library databases?

Hello,

All 300+ databases that the Libraries subscribe to are available through the Databases button on the Libraries' homepage. To search for a specific database, click on that button and type the name of the database you need into the search box below.

Users can also browse by subject category by clicking on the Browse Databases by Type or Subject or Name link just underneath the search box. 

If you experience problems when trying to access any of our databases, you can check their operational status to see if we are experiencing technical difficulties. If you still run into trouble, please report the problem, and one of our staff members will follow up with you.
