Q. The book I want is in "McKeldin Oversize." Where is that?

McKeldin Oversize is a collection of large-format items from the Art, Architecture, and McKeldin libraries which are stored together in a staff-only area in Hornbake Library. Items from this collection will have a status that says: "UMCP McKeldin Library Oversize Collection; Place a Request to Obtain." Here's an example. 

To get an item from this collection, use the Place Hold button in the catalog record. Libraries' staff will retrieve it and place it on hold for you within 5 business days. You will receive an email when the item is available.

If you do not have borrowing privileges (and thus cannot place a request via the catalog), use our special request form. You will receive an email when the item is available.
