Q. A book I borrowed is damaged. What do I do?

If the book is damaged while it is checked out to you, you will be charged a repair fee. More information is available here. 

If you checked out a damaged book, please return it at the desk and point out the damage. A staff member will note the damage and proceed from there. It is best to point out any damage to a book before you check it out to avoid having a fine applied to your account.

If you are charged for damage that you do not believe you caused, fill out the Billing Inquiry Form and a staff member will get back to you on how to resolve the matter.
