Hello. If you cannot request a copy of an item through UBorrow, the interface will present other options for obtaining the material you need.
Scenario #1: The item is available locally (Good news! UBorrow isn't required since we have the book for you). Look for "Held by:University of Maryland, College Park" and, then, below that for the book's call number, along with "on shelf." (A due date will indicate to the contrary that the book is checked out, in which case you can recall it if desirable.) With the call number(s) and, if needed, help from a Libraries' service desk, you can determine locations and find the book(s) you seek.
Scenario #2: Big Ten Libraries own a copy(or copies), but none are currently requestable. This may happen because an item does not circulate or all copies are checked out. Not bad news per say, as you can still click "Request via ILL" to obtain this item through traditional interlibrary loan instead.
