ProQuest Historical Newspapers is called simply "Historical Newspapers" within the UMD Libraries' databases. To access it, go to our homepage, click on the Find Databases box in the middle of the page, type in Historical Newspapers and click Enter. This will provide, alphabetized by titles, links to all of the historical newspapers included in ProQuest Historical Newspapers.

However, searching newspaper titles from the homepage might be the best way to proceed. Start by entering that title in the search box on the Libraries' homepage. A homepage search for the Baltimore Sun, for example, will produce not only the ProQuest Historical Baltimore Sun newspapers that extend up to 1986, but also a link to the more recent Baltimore Sun newspapers that go back to 1990.
